FREE Computer Basics 3-Hour Classes with FREE Chromebook
ROANEnet is offering FREE computer basics classes. These computer basics classes help people who have never used a computer or need a refresher to learn email, video conferencing, internet basics, cybersecurity, and the Affordable Connectivity Program.
These classes provide participants with a FREE refurbished Chromebook computer upon class completion. These digital skills empower individuals and families to use technology to improve their quality of life.
NOTE: ROANEnet does not provide snacks or water at these classes, so please…
- Ensure you eat a meal before attending because it is a 3-hour class.
- Bring your filled water bottle to class.
- If you have a Gmail account, bring your email address and password.
- If you have a Smartphone, please bring it to class since it may be needed to sign into your Gmail account.

What is a Chromebook?
A Chromebook is a low-cost alternative to traditional laptops from Google, with several NEW models available for less than $300.
Each computer basics class participant will receive a FREE refurbished Chromebook to use during the course and take home with them when class ends.
