Debra Saner

Debra Saner was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she earned her BS in Accounting with a minor in computers.  She has worked as an accountant in both private industry and public accounting for over 50 years.  While at the accounting firm, Debra specialized in nonprofits and has been a board member of several different types of nonprofits over the years.  She also spearheaded the firm’s computer division, helping clients select accounting software and training them.

Debra still works part-time remotely for a nonprofit in Cincinnati, providing their financial statements, creating the annual budget for board approval, plus overseeing the annual audit and tax return. She sits on their board finance committee.

After retiring from her full-time job in April 2019, she said goodbye to Cincinnati and her family and moved to Kingston, TN, to be close to her twin sister.  After 30 years, being in the same city has been great for hiking, biking, kayaking, and shopping together.
