His journey began in his father’s grocery store, where he developed a strong work ethic and learned the importance of building relationships with clients. This early experience left an indelible impression, shaping his approach to business and life.
David’s commitment to excellence is evident in his numerous achievements. He earned Gold Eagle Scout status and spent his early years building and racing cars, honing his skills and passion for working with both his mind and hands. His career as a toolmaker for a manufacturing company spanned 28 years, during which he mastered the lessons of teamwork, leadership, and business excellence. His knack for computer systems soon became a side business, helping friends and family with their IT needs.
In 1998, David founded Helping Hand with the unwavering support of his wife, Lorrie, who has since retired. Together, they built a business that prioritizes a positive corporate culture, client relationships, and a genuine desire to help others. David continues to lead Helping Hand with the same dedication and enthusiasm, personally visiting clients, designing new computer systems, and assisting team members.
