With an illustrious career spanning major international players such as Siemens and Asea Brown Boveri (ABB), Egon has traversed various roles encompassing R&D, Project Management, Sales and Marketing Management, and Senior Divisional Managerial positions.

Having retired from the corporate world, Egon has transitioned into a passionate advocate for non-profit initiatives, focusing on driving technology adoption, fostering community collaboration, and advancing societal progress. He is deeply committed to the ethos of continuous learning and improvement, believing in the power of knowledge dissemination and innovation.

Outside his professional pursuits, Egon finds solace and exhilaration in outdoor activities and sports, where he thrives on the challenges and joys they present.

Egon graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Natal. He is also a former professional engineer accredited by the South African Council for Professional and Technical Surveyors (SACPI). Additionally, he has honed his skills through Program Management Development at the University of Cape Town School of Business and holds certifications in Mentoring and Change Management from PROSCI, further solidifying his expertise in leadership and organizational dynamics.
